Investment Objective
The Sub-Fund seeks to generate capital growth by investing in listed international equities with exposure to the major global trend of 'artificial intelligence' through a selection of sub-themes with a link to this trend. The Sub-Fund has a sustainable investment objective within the meaning of Article 9 of European Regulation 2019/2088 of November 27, 2019 on the publication of sustainability information in the financial services sector. The construction of a relevant investment universe from international equities is underpinned by Big Data-based analysis tools, identifying: (i) the most important and recent sub-themes. The choice of the most relevant sub-themes is made and regularly reviewed by the Management Company on a discretionary basis, according to its understanding and interpretation of this major global trend; (ii) the companies linked to these sub-themes. Each company in the investment universe is assigned a 'big data score'. The international equity portfolio is constructed in several stages: I) Stocks are selected on the basis of their big data score. II) Based on the investment universe resulting from the previous two stages (the 'ESG Investment Universe'), an ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) analysis is then carried out. Thanks to a selective approach covering the vast majority of securities in the ESG Investment Universe, at least 20% of the ESG Investment Universe is eliminated. III)The selectivity approach is complemented by carbon reduction considerations. The Sub-Fund takes into account carbon data to achieve the long-term objectives of the Paris Agreement to limit global warming.
