Investment Objective
The objective is to achieve a better performance in a global equity market than the index 'MSCI World in Euro' (the 'Index'). The Sub-Fund invests in company shares, certificates of shares and other equity-like transferable securities. It may invest up to 10% of its assets in UCITS and other UCIs in line with Article 41 (1) e of the Investment Fund Law. It holds a diversified portfolio promoting the exposure to global equity markets (Europe, North America, Asia and emerging markets). The Sub-Fund promotes social and environmental characteristics by investing at least 75% of its invested portfolio in shares, certificates of shares and equity-like transferable securities with exposure to global equity markets that exhibit strong ESG credentials, with a specific focus on CO2 emissions. The invested portfolio shall refer to all assets invested by the Sub-Fund to the exclusion of liquidities. It follows a strategy combining a top down approach for selecting the investments' geographical sectors and a bottom-up approach for selecting the most attractive stocks in each region. In doing so and depending on market conditions, some sectors may be overweight or underweight. The stock selection process favours large companies and mainly relies on fundamental analysis to select companies that generate earnings and dividends while being valued at reasonable prices. It may also invest in structured financial instruments such as, bonds and other transferrable securities whose performance is linked to the evolution of an index, of transferable securities or a basket of transferable securities or a UCI. Derivatives may be used to a limited extent if there are significant subscriptions or to hedge the portfolio. In such cases, the Sub-Fund may use derivatives with a commitment exposure of approximately 20% and in any case no more than 100% according to Article 42 (3) of the Investment Fund Law. For hedging, investment and gaining exposure purposes, the Sub-Fund may use any type |
