Investment Objective
The objective of this sub-fund is to build up capital by applying a long / short strategy through the exposure to specific risks. It uses a long-short strategy, buying securities and/or stock indices believed to be undervalued or attractive and selling short securities and/or stock indices considered overvalued or less attractive. To achieve its objective it may use financial derivatives instruments, e.g. options, futures (including but not limited to, equity indices), CFD, SWAPS.The sub-fund uses a long-short strategy, buying securities and/or stock indices believed to be undervalued or attractive and selling short securities and/or stock indices considered overvalued or less attractive.The sub-fund may invest in government and corporate transferable fixed income securities and floating rate notes, Euro-bonds and convertible bonds, and Money Market Instruments rated at least 'investment grade' by Moody's or Standard and Poors (minimum Baa3/ BBB-), high yield bonds or Equity/Equity derivatives.Specific risks exposure will be achieved with, but not limited to, futures, options, contracts for difference, currency forwards. The sub-fund will invest in exchange traded or over-the-counter financial derivative instruments for efficient portfolio management purpose, that means mainly, but not limited to, in derivatives on equity securities registered in or having their main activity in OECD (Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development) countries.The sub-fund is actively managed and does not refer to any benchmark.The Sub-Fund may invest in units of UCITS and/or other UCIs up to 10% of its net assets. Sustainability risks are not systematically integrated on the basis of the investment strategy and the type of underlying investments.The return of the fund depends primarily on equity market development and dividend payments. |
