Investment Objective
To achieve a positive performance through a combination of income and capital appreciation. Reference Index The fund is actively managed and has no benchmark index. Portfolio Assets The Fund gains exposure to bonds, including money market instruments, and equities by investing mainly in collective investment schemes. The asset mix will gradually shift from primarily money market instruments to primarily equities. But depending on market conditions, the equity allocation may be revised upwards or downwards. The Fund invests worldwide, and can invest in any sector and currency. Derivatives and Structured Products The Fund may use derivatives to reduce various risks (hedging) and for efficient portfolio management. Fund Currency EUR Investment Process In actively managing the Fund, the Investment Manager uses a risk-managed approach to seek additional performance opportunities and pursues a flexible asset allocation strategy. The investment manager considers ESG factors a core element of its strategy. It favours investing in collective investment schemes and / or direct investments that follow either a (i) best-in-class approach that seeks to invest in securities of issuers with low/ decreasing sustainability risks while avoiding those with high/ increasing sustainability risks, (ii) positive tilt approach that seeks to increase the weight of securities with low sustainability risks and/or to decrease the weight of securities with high sustainability risks or (iii) positive impact approach that seeks to invest mainly in economic activities that contribute to an environmental and/or social objective. Activities that adversely affect society or the environment are also avoided.
