The Sub-Fund is actively managed. The HFRX Global Hedge Fund index is used for performance comparison only, without implying any particular constraints to the Sub-Fund?s investments. Securities targeted by the Sub-Fund can be similar to those of the index to an extent that varies overtime but their weighting is expected to materially differ. The performance of the Sub-Fund may deviate materially from that of the index. The Sub-Fund aims to generate capital growth by investing in a broad range of UCITS funds implementing investment strategies seeking absolute returns, including alpha strategies (Global Macro, Equity market neutral and Managed futures), Market risk strategies (Equity Long/Short) and Liquidity providing strategies (Event driven and multi strategies). The investment approach integrates four dimensions including style consideration, manager evaluation and selection, risk constraints and allocation, and risk monitoring. The portfolio invests in around 20-30 positions diversified across investment styles, timeframes, regions and sectors.
