Investment Objective
By subscribing to AMUNDI ABSOLUTE RETURN SHORT TERM BOND SELECT, you are investing in eurozone fixed-income products. The Fund's management objective is, over an investment period of one year, to outperform the capitalised €STR index by 0.885% on an annual basis, after deducting maximum operating and management costs, the figures for which are listed in the charges section of the prospectus. To achieve this, the management team implements an active management strategy based on a rigorous investment process that can be used to identify and benefit from three sources of value: management of portfolio sensitivity, credit security selection and sector-based arbitrage. Investments are made primarily in bond securities issued in euro by public or private entities in all geographical areas. These securities will be of 'good quality' as determined by management and in compliance with the Management Company's internal credit risk monitoring policy. Management may use, on a non-exclusive and non-mechanical basis, securities with a rating ranging from AAA to BBB- on the rating scale of Standard & Poor's and Fitch or AAA to Baa3 according to Moody's or deemed equivalent by the management company. The Fund is managed within a sensitivity range (measurement of the ratio between the change in price and the change in rate) of between -2 and 2. The Fund may enter into temporary purchases of securities. Forward financial instruments may also be used for hedging and/or exposure and/or arbitrage to generate overexposure that may thus increase the UCI's exposure beyond the Fund's net assets. The UCI is actively managed. The index is used a posteriori as a performance comparison indicator. The management strategy is discretionary and has no index-related constraints. The UCI is classified Article 8 within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2019/2088 on sustainability-related disclosures in the financial services sector (known as the 'Disclosure Regulation').
