Investment Objective
The objective is to obtain an increase in the value of long-term investments while controlling their volatility. The Sub-Fund will mainly invest directly and indirectly through targeted UCIs in equity and bonds markets without any geographical restriction. Over 3 years periods, it is expected to have an average exposure to the world equity markets of around 35%. Investments in fixed income securities (issued by corporate entities or governments) will not exceed the limit of 90% of the net assets and will consist of bonds, notes and other similar fixed interest or variable interest transferable securities, including debt securities embedding derivatives, such as convertible bonds. Up to 15% of the net assets of the Sub-Fund can be invested in bonds which are not rated investment grade. Investments can be made globally, including in emerging markets. The Sub-Fund may also invest in structured financial instruments such as credit linked notes, certificates, bonds or any other transferable securities whose performance is linked, amongst others, to an index that meets the requirements of Article 9 of the Grand Ducal Regulation dated February 8, 2008 (including indices on raw materials, precious metals and volatility), currencies, interest rates, transferable securities, a basket of transferable securities that is sufficiently diversified or a UCI. Derivatives may be used to a limited extent if there are significant subscriptions or for hedging purposes. In such cases, the Sub-Fund may use derivatives with a commitment exposure of approximately 20% and in any case no more than 100% according to Article 42 (3) of the Investment Fund Law. For hedging purposes, investment purposes as well as to gain exposure to asset classes, the Sub-Fund may use any type of derivative financial instruments traded on a regulated market and / or traded over-the-counter (OTC) such as CDS.
