Investment Objective
The Fund seeks to provide a combination of income and capital growth over the long term by essentially investing in target funds, including Exchange Traded Funds ("ETFs"), invested in stocks and bonds issued by Government, Sovereign/Supranational entities and companies domiciled in Asia, with a central focus on China. The Fund is actively managed and it has no reference benchmark. The investment in target funds, managed by UBS Asset Management (Hong Kong) Limited or by an affiliate of the UBS Group, or in some cases by an external third-party, may range up to 100% of the Fund's net assets. The Fund may also invest in bonds with investment grade rating and with rating of BB+ or below (Standard & Poor's or equivalent rating) or unrated of comparable quality. Exposure to stocks ranges from 35% to 65% of the Fund's net assets. The Fund's maximum exposure to commodities is 10% of its net assets. The Fund may use financial derivatives to protect its portfolio against unfavorable market, interest rate or currency fluctuations. The Fund may also use financial derivatives to reduce other risks or to produce more revenues. The Fund is open-ended. You may redeem shares of the Fund on any Luxembourg business day. The Share Class makes no dividend payment. |
