Investment Objective
Investment Objective To seek a long-term return, in EUR, through an exposure to the MSCI Europe Climate Paris Aligned Index (the "Benchmark") with lower volatility, and to seek to offer a drawdown buffer in comparison to the Benchmark on a quarterly basis, while capping the performance, through the use of derivatives, and to apply an ESG approach. Investment Policy The Sub-Fund is actively managed. As part of the investment process, the Investment Manager has discretion over the composition of the Sub-Fund's portfolio and can take positions outside of the Benchmark's composition - these will typically not comprise more than 20% of net assets of the Sub-Fund. Even though the Benchmark constituents are generally representative of the Sub-Fund's portfolio, the overall performance and risk characteristics are likely to be different notably due to the financial derivative instrument overlay strategy. The Sub-Fund essentially invests in equities and equity related securities of companies of all sizes and sectors listed in Europe and uses total return swaps to exchange the performance of such investments against the one of the Benchmark, overlayed by the derivative instrument overlay strategy. The Sub-Fund seeks to mitigate quarterly downside risks up to 15% relative to the Benchmark (before fees and expenses), after the first -5% and up to -20%, in return for a capped upside performance, using a financial derivative instrument overlay strategy (i.e. by buying a put spread option, financed by the sale of a call option) . The upside cap is adjusted at the beginning of each quarterly period, depending on prevailing market conditions and the put spread option cost.Derivatives, including TRS, may be used for efficient portfolio management, hedging and investment purposes. The Sub-Fund promotes environmental and/or social characteristics by investing in and getting exposure to securities that have implemented good practices in terms of managing their environmental impacts, govern
