Investment Objective
By subscribing to AMUNDI ABSOLUTE RETURN SHORT TERM BOND SELECT, you are investing in eurozone fixed-income products. Through a responsible approach that complies with environmental, social and governance (ESG) criteria in its securities selection, the Fund's management objective is, over an investment period of one year, to outperform the capitalised €STR index by 1.085% on an annual basis, after deducting maximum operating and management costs, the figures for which are listed in the charges section of the prospectus. To achieve this, the management team implements an active management strategy based on a rigorous investment process that can be used to identify and benefit from three sources of value: management of portfolio sensitivity, credit security selection and sector-based arbitrage. In order to select eligible securities within the investment universe, the management team relies on a financial analysis combined with a non-financial analysis based on ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) criteria. The non-financial analysis results in an ESG rating ranging from A (highest rating) to G (lowest rating). At least 90% of the portfolio's securities are subject to an ESG rating. The UCI applies the Amundi exclusion policy, which includes the following rules: - legal exclusions on controversial weapons; - exclusion of companies that seriously and repeatedly contravene one or more of the Ten Principles of the Global Compact, without credible corrective measures; - Amundi Group sectoral exclusions on coal and tobacco. The management team also excludes issuers rated G at purchase. The UCI implements the following: a 'rating improvement' approach (the weighted average ESG rating for the portfolio is higher than the weighted average ESG rating for the investment universe after eliminating 20% of the lowest-rated issuers) a Best-in-Class approach, which aims to favour the leading issuers in their sector of activity according to ESG criteria identified by the Manage |
