Investment Objective
INVESTMENT OBJECTIVE: The aim is for your investment to track the performance of the MSCI ACWI IMI SDG Impact Select Index (index). DESCRIPTION OF INDEX: The index is based on the MSCI ACWI IMI Index (Parent Index) and is designed to reflect the performance of the shares of large, medium, and small-capitalisation companies globally that are associated with a positive contribution to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In order to be eligible for inclusion companies must be eligible for inclusion in the Parent Index and pass certain ESG screening criteria and the SDG impact selection criteria. ESG CRITERIA: The ESG screening criteria excludes companies from the Parent Index which breach certain ESG standards, as disclosed in the prospectus and/or supplement. The ESG Criteria comprise the requirements as laid out in Article 12(1)(a) to (g) of the Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2020/1818 (PAB Exclusions). The SDG impact selection criteria identifies companies that contribute positively to the SDGs. Securities must meet a certain revenue threshold from associated business activities and rank highly according to their SDG revenue in their corresponding GICS sector. Securities are weighted by the product of their free float-adjusted market capitalisation and their percentage of SDG revenue. The index includes a sector capping component, limiting the exposure to each GICS sector to 20% and an issuer capping component, limiting the weight of each issuer to 4.5% at each quarterly rebalance. INDEX REBALANCING, CALCULATION AND ADMINISTRATION: The index is administered by MSCI Limited. The index is calculated on a total return net basis, which means that all dividends and distributions by the companies are reinvested in the shares after tax. The index is reviewed semi-annually and rebalanced at least quarterly. The index is calculated in USD on a daily basis. INVESTMENT POLICY: To achieve the aim, the fund will attempt to replicate the index, before |
