Investment Objective
The Fund aims to achieve a return on your investment, through a combination of capital growth and income on the Fund's assets, which reflects the return of the MSCI World Industrials Advanced Select 20 35 Capped Index (the Index). The Fund, aims to invest in the equity securities (e.g. shares) that make up the Index. The Index measures the performance of large and mid capitalisation companies in developed countries across Europe which are within the Global Industry Classification Standard (GICS) financials sector and which comply with MSCI's size, liquidity and free-float criteria. The GICS financials sector currently comprises companies involved in activities such as banking, mortgage finance, consumer finance, specialised finance, investment banking and brokerage, asset management and custody, corporate lending, insurance, and financial investment and transaction and payment processing services. Companies are included in the Index on a free float-adjusted market capitalisation weighted basis. Free float means that only shares readily available in the market rather than all of a company's issued shares are used in calculating the Index. Free float-adjusted market capitalisation is the share price of a company multiplied by the number of shares readily available in the market. The Parent Index measures the performance of large and mid capitalisation stocks across developed market countries which comply with MSCI's size, liquidity and free-float criteria that are within the Global Industry Classification Standard (GICS) industrials sector. The GICS industrials sector includes companies which are involved in the manufacture and distribution of capital goods, the provision of commercial and professional services and supplies and the provision of transportation services. The Fund intends to replicate the Index by holding the equity securities, which make up the Index, in similar proportions to it.
