Investment Objective
Investment objective: To achieve the investment objective the Fund will seek to replicate the Net Total Return performance of the S&P 500 Quality Index (the 'Index'), less fees, expenses and transaction costs. The Fund will, as far as possible and practicable, replicate the Index by holding all the securities in the Index in a similar proportion to their respective weightings in the Index. Investment approach: The Fund is a passively managed ETF. To achieve the investment objective the Fund will seek to replicate the Net Total Return performance of the S&P 500 Quality Index (the 'Index'), less fees, expenses and transaction costs.The Fund will, as far as possible and practicable, replicate the Index by holding all the securities in the Index in a similar proportion to their respective weightings in the Index. The Fund may use derivative instruments for the purposes of managing risk, reducing costs, generating additional capital or income. The Fund may engage in securities lending, whereby 90% of the revenues arising from securities lending will be returned to the Fund and 10% of the revenues will be retained by the securities lending agent. The Fund may be exposed to the risk of the borrower defaulting on its obligation to return the securities at the end of the loan period and of being unable to sell the collateral provided to it if the borrower defaults. The Index: The Index tracks the performance of high quality companies in the S&P 500 index (the 'Parent Index'). The Parent Index is designed to reflect the US large-cap equity market, by including 500 leading companies and covering approximately 80% of the available market capitalisation. The Index is constructed from the Parent Index by selecting the top 100 securities based on their quality scores.
