Investment Objective
The Fund is an index-tracking UCITS passively managed. The investment objective is to track both the upward and the downward evolution of the MSCI Pacific Ex Japan Index Net Total Return ('Benchmark Index') denominated in US dollars and representative of large and mid cap capitalization across 4 of 5 Developed Markets countries in the Pacific region, excluding Japan while minimising the volatility of the difference between the return of the Fund and the return of the Benchmark Index (the 'Tracking Error'). The anticipated level of tracking error in normal market conditions is indicated in the prospectus. The Benchmark Index is a net total return index. A net total return index calculates the performance of the index constituents on the basis that any dividends or distributions are included in the index returns after withholding tax retention. MSCI's website (www.msci.com) contains more detailed information about the MSCI indexes. The Sub-Fund intends to implement a sampled replication model in order to track the performance of the Index and it is therefore not expected that the Sub-Fund will hold each and every underlying component of the Index at all times or hold them in the same proportion as their weightings in the Index. The Sub-Fund may also hold some securities which are not underlying components of the Index. The Investment Manager will be able to use derivatives in order to deal with inflows and outflows and which relate to the Index or constituents of the Index for investment and/or efficient portfolio management. In order to generate additional income to offset its costs, the Sub-Fund may also enter into securities lending operations. Updated composition of the Fund holdings is available on www.amundietf.com. In addition, the indicative net asset value is p
