Investment Objective
By subscribing to Amundi PEA MSCI Emerging Latin America Selection UCITS ETF - EUR, you are investing in a passively managed UCITS whose objective is to replicate as accurately as possible the performance of the MSCI EM Latin American Selection 20/35% Capped Index (the 'Index'), regardless of whether it experiences a positive or negative development. The maximum tracking error objective between the growth of the net asset value of the Fund and that of the Index is indicated in the Fund's prospectus. The Index, net dividends reinvested (dividends net of tax paid by the shares in the index are included in the index calculation), denominated in US dollars, is calculated and published by the index provider MSCI. The Sub-fund promotes environmental and/or social characteristics, in particular by replicating an index incorporating an environmental, social and governance (ESG) rating. The index methodology is built using a 'Best-in-class' approach: The top-ranked companies are selected to build the index. The 'Best-in-class' approach consists of selecting the best-performing investments within a universe, industrial sector or category. This approach excludes companies that are lagging behind in ESG terms, notably on the basis of ESG ratings. By using this Best-in-class approach, the index follows a non-financial approach that reduces the initial investment universe by 20% (expressed in number of issuers). Key ESG issues include, but are not limited to, water stress, carbon emissions, personnel management or business ethics. You are exposed to currency risk between the currencies of the equities that make up the Index and the currency of the Fund. You are not, however, exposed to currency risk between the currency of the Index and the currency of the Fund. The equities included in the composition of the MSCI Emerging Markets Latam index are derived from the universe of the most important securities on the equity markets of Latin American countries.
