Investment Objective
This Sub-Fund is passively managed. The objective of this Sub-Fund is to track the performance of MSCI World Climate Paris Aligned Filtered PAB Index (the 'Index'). The anticipated level of the tracking error, under normal market conditions, is indicated in the prospectus of the Sub-Fund. The Index is a net total return index, meaning that dividends net of tax paid by the index constituents are included in the Index return. The Index is an equity index based on the MSCI World Index representative of the large and mid-cap stocks across developed market countries (the 'Parent Index'). The Index is designed to support investors seeking to reduce their exposure to transition and physical climate risks and who wish to pursue opportunities arising from the transition to a lower-carbon economy, while aligning with the Paris Agreement requirements. The Index incorporates the Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) recommendations and is designed to exceed the minimum standards of the EU Paris-Aligned Benchmark. The TCFD was created by the Financial Stability Board to improve and increase reporting of climate-related financial information. The Financial Stability Board is an international body that monitors and makes recommendations about the global financial system. The TCFD recommendations help businesses disclose climate-related financial information and apply to financial-sector organizations, including asset managers.
