Investment Objective
The Fund is a passively managed index-based UCITS. The Fund's objective is to be exposed with a daily rebalancing to the French stock market by replicating, both upwards and downwards, the performance of the CAC 40 Leverage Gross Return index (gross dividends reinvested) (the 'Benchmark'), denominated in euro (EUR) and which is a leverage strategy (with a daily 2x leverage effect), with daily rebalancing, on the CAC 40 Gross Return index (gross dividends reinvested) (the 'Parent Index'), the main French stock exchange index, while minimising the tracking error between the Fund's performance and that of the Benchmark. The expected level of the Tracking Error under normal market conditions is indicated in the Fund prospectus. Over a period of one working day, any depreciation in the level of the Parent Index shall lead to stronger depreciation of the net asset value of the Fund. However, for a period greater than one working day, due to the daily leverage readjustment conducted in the Benchmark, the performance of the Fund will not be equal to double the performance of the Parent Index and may even develop in the opposite direction. The Euronext website (www.euronext.com) provides more detailed information about Euronext indices. The Fund aims to achieve its objective by means of indirect replication, namely by entering into one or more OTC swaps (forward financial instruments, 'FFIs'). The Fund may invest in a diversified portfolio of international shares whose performance will be exchanged against that of the Benchmark through FFIs. The updated composition of the portfolio of securities held by the Fund is mentioned on the website amundietf.com. In addition, the indicative net asset value appears on the Fund's Reuters and Bloomberg pages and may also be mentioned on the Fund's stock exchange websites. The Fund is eligible for the French Plan d'Epargne en Actions (PEA) and, consequently, invests a minimum of 75% of its assets in the shares of European Union countrie |
