Investment Objective
Investment objective: The objective of the Fund is to achieve the net total return of the FTSE All-World Index (the 'Index'), less fees, expenses and transaction costs. Investment approach: The Fund is a passively managed ETF. To achieve the investment objective, the Fund will employ sampling techniques to select securities in the Index which may include but are not limited to index weighted average duration, industry sector weights, country weights, liquidity and credit quality. The use of the sampling approach will result in the Fund holding a smaller number of securities than are in the underlying Index. The Fund may use derivative instruments for the purposes of managing risk, reducing costs, generating additional capital or income. The Fund may engage in securities lending, whereby 90% of the revenues arising from securities lending will be returned to the Fund and 10% of the revenues will be retained by the securities lending agent. The Fund may be exposed to the risk of the borrower defaulting on its obligation to return the securities at the end of the loan period and of being unable to sell the collateral provided to it if the borrower defaults. The Fund's base currency is USD. The Index: The Index is a subset of the FTSE Global Equity Index Series ('GEIS') which aims to capture over 98% of the world's investable market capitalisation. The Index is composed of the companies in the GEIS that are classified as large or mid-capitalisation and which originate from either Developed or Emerging Market countries. Securities eligible for inclusion in the Index include but are not limited to, common stock, ordinary shares and preference shares and securities ineligible for inclusion in the Index are convertible preference shares (ahead of conversion) and loan stocks. The index is market capitalization weighted such that there is no weighting bias to specific countries or sectors. The Index is rebalanced on a semi-annual basis.
