The Product is passively managed. The Product seeks to replicate (with a maximum tracking error* of 1%) the performance of the BNP Paribas Value Europe (NTR) index (Bloomberg: BNPIFEVE index) (the Index) by investing in shares issued by companies included in the index, respecting the Index's weightings (full replication), or by investing in a substitute basket, composed of, inter alia, shares of companies, debt securities or cash (synthetic replication).At least, 75% of the assets will be invested at all times in equities issued by companies that have their registered office in a member country of the European Economic Area, other than non-cooperative countries in the fight against fraud and tax evasionWhen investing in a basket of securities called substitute basket the performance is swapped with the performance of the index, generating counterparty risk.The Index is composed of shares of European companies based on financial and academic research that explores fundamental undervalued companies, while taking into account an Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) criteria (reduction of carbon emission, human capital, corporate governance etc.). Hence, companies involved in disputable activities, subject to significant violations of the principles of the United Nations Global Compact or companies that have been involved in serious controversies related to the ESG are excluded from the index. The type of approach implemented here is Best-in-class (Best-in-class approach identifies leaders in each sector based on the best environmental, social and governance (ESG) practices, while avoiding those that present high levels of risk and do not comply with minimum ESG standards). The investment team applies also BNP PARIBAS ASSET MANAGEMENT's Sustainable Investment Policy, which takes into account Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) criteria such as but not limited to reduction of emission of greenhouse gas, respect of human rights, respect of minority sharehold
