Investment Objective
The Product is passively managed. The Product seeks to replicate the performance of the MSCI Emerging SRI Select PAB (NTR) Index (with a maximum tracking error* of 1%) (Bloomberg: M7CXESC index) ("the Index") by investing in the companies issued by companies included in the Index, respecting the Index's weightings (full replication), or in a sample of securities issued by companies included in the Index (optimised replication). When investing in a sample of securities, the Product's tracking error may be higher. The Index is an emerging markets equity index with an objective to provide investors with exposure to emerging markets companies, which have high standard in terms of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) values, while aiming to comply with the Paris Aligned Benchmark (PAB) targets of reducing GHG intensity by at least 50% relative to the initial investment universe and achieving an additional decarbonisation target of at least 7% each year as defined in the framework of the European Benchmark Regulation.The Index initial investment universe (the "Investment Universe") is composed of companies included in the MSCI Emerging Markets Index (the "Parent Index").As a first step, the Index selects companies from the Investment Universe based on Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance (ESG) criteria (such as environmental opportunity, pollution and waste, human capital, corporate governance, etc.) and based on their efforts to reduce their exposure to coal and unconventional fossil fuels.As a result, companies belonging to controversial sectors (such as controversial weapons, gambling, genetically modified organisms, conventional weapons), those involved in sectors with a potentially high negative ESG impact, those subject to significant violations of the UN Global Compact principles and those involved in severe ESG-related controversies are excluded from the Index.The extra financial strategy of the Index, carried out at each step of the investment pro
