iShares Electric Vehicles and Driving Technology UCITS ETF USD (Acc)

The Share Class is a share class of a Fund which aims to achieve a return on your investment, through a combination of capital growth and income on the Fund's assets, which reflects the return of the STOXX Global Electric Vehicles and Driving Technology Index, the Fund's benchmark index ("Index"). The Share Class, via the Fund is passively managed and aims to invest so far as possible and practicable in equity securities (e.g. shares) that make up the Index. The Index reflects the performance of a sub-set of global equity securities of eligible countries within the STOXX World AC Universal All Cap Index (the "Parent Index") which derive significant revenue from electric vehicles and assisted-driving technologies, including companies involved in the manufacturing of electric vehicles, electric vehicle batteries and charging equipment, driving technologies and other suppliers in the electric vehicles manufacturers' supply chain, as determined by the index provider. Companies included in the index, must generate at least 50% (45% for existing companies in the index) of their annual revenue from electric vehicles and the assisted driving technologies theme. The Index excludes companies from the Parent Index which are identified by the index provider as being involved in certain lines/activities deemed to have negative environmental and/or social outcomes ("ESG Requirements"), as outlined in the Fund's Prospectus. Companies in the Index must also meet the index provider's criteria for market capitalization and trading volume and be domiciled in an eligible country which is also determined by the index provider. The Fund's investment in securities that make up the Index will, at the time of purchase, comply with the ESG Requirements of the Index. Where securities no longer meet such requirements, the Fund may continue to hold them until they cease to form part of the Index and it is practicable to sell them.
