L&G Pharma Breakthrough UCITS ETF

The Fund is a passively managed exchange traded Fund that aims to track the performance of the Solactive Pharma Breakthrough Value Index Net Total Return (the " Index "), subject to the deduction of the ongoing charges and other costs associated with operating the Fund. The Fund has a sustainable investment objective as it invests in companies which (i) contribute to social objectives, (ii) do not significantly harm any environmental or social objectives, and (iii) follow good governance practices. Shares in this Share Class (the " Shares ") are denominated in USD and can be bought and sold on stock exchanges by ordinary investors using an intermediary (e.g. a stockbroker). In normal circumstances, only Authorised Participants may buy and sell Shares directly with the Company. Authorised Participants may redeem their Shares on demand in accordance with the "Dealing Timetable" published on http://www.lgim.com . The index is comprised of bio-technology companies which are publically traded on various stock exchanges around the world that are actively engaged in the research, development and manufacture of orphan drugs. An "orphan drug" is a pharmaceutical product that has been developed specifically to treat rare diseases or disorders. A company is only eligible for inclusion in the Index if (1) it is of a sufficient size (determined by reference to the total market value of the proportion of its shares that are publically traded) and (2) it is sufficiently "liquid" (a measure of how actively its shares are traded on a daily basis). The Index will exclude companies which are constituents of the ESG Exclusions Enhanced Index, namely companies that (i) have severe controversies, (ii) are persistent violators of the UN Global Compact, and/or (iii) are involved, to a certain degree, in harmful activities as determined in the Index Methodology, available at: www.solactive.com .
